The Exploration - Chapter II.3 - Electromagnetism
...We explore space in search of answers, but sometimes we only find more questions. I'm Dr. Dana Dwitt and I'll tell you the story of the EX-A2542 exploration.

Chapter II.3 - Electromagnetism
That planet was extraordinary, despite being a solid planet, its center of mass was constantly changing, apparently thanks to strong electromagnetic activity that had not previously been observed naturally in the universe.
On the ship's bridge, everyone was stunned by this discovery and with the other readings interpreted by the ship's computer, Miles was incredulous.
"Review the readings one more time," Miles ordered.
"Sir, they are always the same results, the readings are correct" answered one of the technicians.
Miles became convinced of what was happening, the computer readings had already been exhaustively audited and although they seemed incoherent, they were correct. Miles finally understood what was going on "or thought he understood" and formed a hypothesis.
"Apparently the planet functions as a great atom of hydrogen charged with negative energy, its moons function as electrons and the planet in itself is the nucleus its center of mass fluctuates due to the oscillation of the electromagnetic charge caused by the movement of translation of the moons" Miles explained his hypothesis.
"It is safe to continue approaching a system like that" the technician understood the danger that represented to continue advancing.
"I don't think we're getting any closer, check the distance one more time," Miles asked them calmly, addressing them with a look of superiority and confidence in their words.
"How is that possible? We are moving away!" the technicians were surprised after reviewing the distance between them and the mysterious planet, once again.
It's been two days since the EX-A2542 didn't get close to that mysterious planet even though it didn't stop advancing, with its reactors constantly pushing it forward. How could this be possible? Maybe Miles had the answer.
"The electromagnetic field of the planet is so great that we have already come into contact with it, it repels us due to our electrical charge, preventing us from approaching. No matter how much power we have in the spacecraft we only push it, modifying its orbit and making it more unstable than it already is, hence the incoherent readings obtained previously." Miles was brilliant, or very crazy, anyway, there was no way to know, for now.
