Physics is one of the lessons avoided by the majority of students. Many students think that Physics is difficult. They assume that Physics is difficult because of many mathematical formulas. Assuming the student is added again the way of learning by the teacher is not fun, making the more feared physics students. This is evident from the very few students of grade XII Senior High School who choose Physics as the subjects of choice when the Computer-Based National Test (CBNT).
Basically the formulations in mathematical form that often appear in the matter of Physics is no other aim to obtain a simpler general formula. So mathematics in Physics are a tool. Because the name of the tool, then surely the mathematical function in Physics is to ease in solving the Physics problem. The problem arises when the students' math skills are low so they can not reference the Physics problem in mathematical form. Therefore, an appropriate strategy is needed to solve the problem. Through this paper the authors offer problem solving strategies in solving Physics problems.
The problem solving strategy that the authors offer here uses four steps. Therefore, the author will try to show how to solve the problem Physics with the four steps. Physics problems that the authors show here is a matter of Physics in the form of stories. The question is the authors select one of the problems in which there is tested National Examination. For example given the problem as follows.
To solve the problem, do the problem solving steps as follows.
Understand the problem
The first step is to understand the problem. To make it easier to understand the problem, the Physics problem is explained or rewritten with the word itself. For the above problem, for example, we write as follows.

Antara muatan B dan muatan C akan terjadi gaya coulomb FCB yang saling tolak menolak juga karena kedua muatan sejenis (+QB dan +QC). Gaya yang bekerja pada muatan B akibat pengaruh muatan A dan muatan C merupakan resultan dari gaya FAB dan FCB. Jadi gaya coulomb FB merupakan vektor resultan yang dapat di tentukan dengan menggunakan aturan vektor.
