Europa League: MU and Arsenal Qualified for the Semifinals

Manchester United (MU) and Arsenal qualified for the Europa League semifinals. Apart from MU and Arsenal, the two other teams that qualified for the semifinals were AS Roma and Villareal. In the semifinals, MU will face AS Roma, while Villareal will be challenged by Arsenal.

Entertaining Granada, MU which was superior 2-0 on aggregate, immediately took the initiative to attack. As a result, MU was already ahead quickly in the 6th minute thanks to Edinson Cavani's goal, the result of Paul Pogba's assist. The 1-0 victory score for MU lasted until the end of the first half.

In the second half, MU continued to control the match. Evidenced by statistics where MU made 9 attempted kicks on goal, of which 3 times were shots on target. While Granada was only able to record 7 kicks and 2 of them were shots on target. MU also controlled Possession with 55% compared to Granada's 45%.

However, MU can only add advantage in injury time or 90 + 1 minutes thanks to the Granada player's own goal, Jesus Vallejo. MU finally won with 2 scores 2-0 until the long whistle sounded.

These results made MU qualify for the semifinals with an aggregate of 4-0. In the first leg, MU was 2-0 ahead at Granada's drums. MU will face AS Roma in the semifinals. The other teams that qualify for the semifinals are AS Roma, Arsenal and Villareal.
