THE LOOK ALWAYS UP¡ ON JESUS!
(Hebrews 12: 1)
"Therefore, we too, having around our great cloud of witnesses, let us shed all weight and the sin that beset us, and patiently run the race that lies ahead, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, which by the joy set before him ...
(RVR1960)
Always keeping our eyes on Christ is the most important thing we can do in this transitory and uncertain world since this implies strength and hope as well as accepting that everything we have comes from him and that he is our greatest
reward.
The great men of faith that were used in ancient times were people who had their eyes fixed on Jesus the author and finisher of faith and their lives are our witnesses after having been victors that only in Christ can we come out with grace from any circumstance, in addition the life consecrated to God allows us hope and faith even when circumstances show us another reality
Walking with God implies fulfilling a series of principles to be able to walk when necessary but also to run the race when the time and God's grace in our lives so require, it means a new and transformed life that for many will be madness but to those who we walk with him we know that it is the greatest security which gives us peace and joy
Putting our eyes on the things above means looking for everything and practicing with our actions the principles that the Bible offers us to be able to live fully since if we look first for the things of God he will add everything we need according to his riches in glory
Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
(RVR1960)
This verse encourages us to keep our gaze on Jesus because when we fatigue and worry about material things and daily worries, these concerns will certainly affect us and we could probably take our eyes off God, so the advice is to keep firm and our gaze to the heaven to seek first the kingdom of God and his justice and he will know how to honor each gesture or action of our life
