Rich In Works

A controversial issue, especially in the Christian world, everyone wants to be rich in material goods but in works abundance is scarce. Often people use wealth as a scale to measure their prosperity and well-being. When someone has personal assets that exceed the average, for example, a large house or a luxury car, then people comment that "they are doing well." Economic prosperity is a goal for many and achieving it represents a social achievement to be proud of.

A believer does not necessarily have to be poor unless God so directs so that his purpose is achieved and is not an obstacle to his growth. What God wants is that we be rich in good works and help our neighbor always.

Doing good works enriches us as human beings that God is in our hearts guiding us in every step to be a blessing to others. Hebrews 13: 5-6 reminds us that greed is a symptom of our lack of trust in divine providence: “Let your habits be without greed, content with what you have now, whether it be much or little; because he said: I will not forsake you, nor will I leave you; so that we can confidently say: The Lord is my helper; I will not fear What man can do to me ”.

Yes, we see rich in love as the "great love for ourselves." Thanks so much for this message.

Saludos asíi mismo es, nuestra riqueza bien de lo alto y no añade tristeza con ella 👍

Is it right for a believer to be so poor that can't even fend for himself and family? I think this will probably retard his spiritual growth, right? @darlenys01
