La indiferencia se conoce como una falta de desarrollo de empatía que no te permite conectarte con las necesidades de los demás, una persona también puede volverse indiferente por su alta sensibilidad y prefieren mantenerse al margen para no salir heridos.

La indiferencia es tan rechazada como cometer el propio acto en sí, ya que va en contra del respeto y la solidaridad. Permanecer inmóvil frente a una situación o ante una persona es un acto de indiferencia. Una persona indiferente no manifiesta sus pensamientos y guarda silencio para quedar bien con todos.

En Isaías 42:20 dice: que ve muchas cosas y no advierte, que abre los oídos y no oye?, En Mateo 13:15; Porque el corazón de este pueblo se ha engrosado, y con los oídos oyen pesadamente, Y han cerrado sus ojos; Para que no vean con los ojos, Y oigan con los oídos, Y con el corazón entiendan, Y se conviertan, Y yo los sane.

Son versículos que bien nos hablan de la indiferencia, ser indiferentes ante lo moral y lo ético nos hace ser partícipes también de ello. La indiferencia hace que las cosas malas sigan repitiéndose.

El escritor y político irlandés Edmund Burke, comento una frase que engloba esta teoría, el dijo: “Para que el mal triunfe, solo se necesita que los hombres buenos no hagan nada”.

Las personas prefieren tapar sus ojos ante la injusticia y en muchos casos no castigar a los que la cometen. La indiferencia genera silencio e irresponsabilidad, en nuestro tiempo y sociedad la actitud indiferente se ha convertido en un mal tanto para el amor como para la justicia y la Paz.

La manera en que podamos aportar un grano de arena a la sociedad sería quizás dejar de ser indiferentes y contribuir a ser partícipes directos de la lucha por la justicia y la equidad. No podemos permanecer en silencio frente a las injusticias, pues nuestro silencio solo genera impunidad.

Eduquemos a nuestros hijos para insertar en ellos un compromiso con la sociedad donde se desenvuelven, donde puedan generar sus propias percepciones y no permanecer en silencio ante situaciones que necesiten de su opinión.

Escenas devastadoras pueden impactar nuestra vida, pero además de sensibilizarnos debemos reflexionar, después de esto no podemos seguir siendo iguales o como si nada pasara, nuestra sociedad no puede seguir indiferente solo por tener una posición privilegiada.

La indiferencia duele, a las personas nos gusta ser tomadas en cuenta y saber que somos importantes para alguien, actúa de forma distinta que los demás, si notas que otros no reaccionan ante las situaciones de injusticia, empieza tu, no te limites, se un agente de cambio y comienza a establecer la justicia, practicarla y enterrar la diferencia.

Se un mediador entre el mundo y las personas, práctica la amabilidad y la solidaridad con los mas débiles y no le otorgues poder a los verdugos modernos que usan su fuerza para humillar y destruir a los que no lo tienen.
