What else can Blockchain do?
I'm trying to come up with a list of things Blockchain technology can do beyond transferring value. Sending value is only the first use case of Bitcoin.
Considering that Bitcoin is the first and the template , all the other 141billion dollars invested in crypto are in technologies attempting to do more than just be value transfer software, what else can we do with it?
- Bitcoin - send encrypted value
- Steem - hypertext + no fees
- I don't want to just list coins
I heard you can send a microtransaction to transfer a deed. Once I found a site that let you encode information in a bitcoin transaction.
Bitcoin already can do so much and yet we are trying to reinvent Bitcoin. How much should it change? New coins come out every day to potentially be what Bitcoin is already doing.
Evolution
This Steemit post seems to be functioning beyond the parameters of just sending money. I can write hypertext that helps complete the pow or "proof of brain" in this case.
What else can Blockchain do?
What could it possibly do in the future?
Full businesses can go on the blockchain since smart contracts allow for the programming of decision trees....hence management is run by the blockchain.
Shipping companies are using blockchain to reduce monitor and better use their supply chain
Oil companies are using blockchain to keep track of ownership of the oil at different points along the way.
Governments will put all public docs on the blockchain.
All cloud services will eventually be blockchain based.
The blockchain will handle contract fulfillment.
These are just a few off the tip of my head.
