Four Time Champions Italy Fails to Qualify for the Next FIFA World Cup
In a shocking turn of events Italy's hopes of qualifying for the next FIFA world cup have ended for the first time in 60 years, after a 0-0 draw against Sweden.
Sweden will now replace Italy in the FIFA world cup who have qualified for the first time since 2006.
Following this loss Daniele De Rossi announced his retirement after having made 117 appearances at the age of 34. Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli are also probably going to hang up their boots.
