Color Challenge Friday Blue - Blue Skies Over The Nevada Desert
I lived in Las Vegas for 1 year. One of my favorite things to do was hiking and running in the desert. This area was a couple miles from my house. It is a reservoir, but doesn't hold water most of the time, it is built to defend against flash floods.
Here is a friendly coyote that I saw while I was out playing one day.

The desert tortoise is so pretty! How many degrees is the wheather there?
The hottest I experienced was 117F, apx 47C. But that was an extreme. It was often quite comfortable.
