Akropolis - Pension Decentralised

The average person only thinks of landing a good job or in a new gig right after they finish their education. It has always been the same, time and time again, most of our teachers, let alone our parents, do not emphasize on the fact that there will come a time when we will retire.

All just focus on getting the job part, no one cares on the part that come after that. No one ever told us and once we realise it, we are too late. We require a good backing of cash inflow in the times when we may not have the energy to go to a regular job.

People overlook pension, believing that they can take care of it once they reach that stage. But, there is also the fact there are so many options out there that it confuses anyone who wants to start preparing their pension plans. They usually are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of documents and options that they have to consider, and even if they find to make a plan that could suite their vision, there is a lot of bureaucracy involved in the sector.

But in the recent times, this has been changing. Many of the parents have set up pension funds for their children at the earliest as they don't want their offsprings to face the same issues they faced. Also, many of the working class under ages 40 have started setting up pension funds much earlier than that was followed before.

Starting early would provide you with much more flexibility, peace of mind, much higher amount to be accumulated to the fund and thus allowing you to concentrate on the present. The general population is getting more aware of the fact and want to start planning for pension right from the start, but many are unable to do so because of the problems mentioned above.

Akropolis Platform

They state that there is a lot of deficit in the available asset and liabilities in the current traditional pension sector and requires a newer method for making the system stable when there any systematic failures occurs as that is basically how the industry is.

With the introduction of the Akropolis Platform, they plan to solve all the above mentioned issues by implementing Blockchain technology to the existing system. This would allow the much centralised sector to become decentralised, making it much more transparent for all. It would also allow for increased security in the funds and asset storage, allowing for users to make transfers easily and without much worry.

ICO & Team

They plan on introducing two Tokens to power their platform: one being an internal token (AIT) and the other being an external token (AET). The internal token would be used within the platform and the external token would be used to trade in exchanges. Both the Tokens are based on Ethereum's ERC-20 Token. Their Private Pre-Sale is currently in progress and they plan on holding their Public ICO soon but haven't exactly mentioned the dates and details of it in their whitepaper.

They have a really good team with the founders being very well experienced in the Blockchain and Legal systems. They even have included a staff for looking after the CyberSecurity aspect, which is usually overlooked by other Projects. They are backed by an even more impressive advisory board, consisting of influential people from Legal, FinTech fields, with many being experienced Investors, Angels, VCs and Entrepreneurs.

Conclusion

They need a really experienced team for pulling off what they've planned and have got that in spades. They have few things lacking though; they have got no working product as of writing and their whitepaper is detailed on the how they wish to obtain their goals, but very less details on Token Generation Event.

Other than that, this is a very stable project with not much of competition offered by the traditional as well as blockchain field and have a lot of potential to succeed.
