This makes quantum computers able to process a massive amount of information at the same time, this makes it very useful especially in tasks such as cryptography, drug discovery and climate modeling.

Quantum computing uses underlying concepts of theories from quantum mechanics which is a branch of physics that deals with the particle physics at microscopic level. Although, it is a relatively new field considerable progress has been made and leading technology companies as well as research universities pour millions in the development of quantum technologies. New applications continue to emerge in the field of quantum computing; it will give rise to further scientific research findings as well as redefine numerous industries as the realm of computational power expands.
