Venezuela continues to be in the news because of the devastating crisis it is going through, from a host of social problems and the constant deterioration of all systems, to the fact that there is no separation of public powers and that it is going through the worst economic and political crisis in its republican history, a crisis that makes Venezuelans have to devise a way to survive, a crisis that is getting worse and deeper every day.

Venezuelans have to make magic to survive with a minimum wage of 1,307,646 Bs.F at the time of publication of this post, which translates into a little more than 2 USD, to survive an overwhelming insecurity, a shortage of medicines and many other problems. Incredible but real, now, what are "opposition" politicians doing against a totalitarian regime?

According to the 2016 ranking, of the 50 most violent cities in the world, prepared annually by the Citizens' Council for Public Security and Criminal Justice A.C. (Mexico), there are seven of these cities in Venezuela. Caracas is the number 1 city in the world, and is accompanied by Maturín, Ciudad Guayana, Valencia, Barquisimeto, Cumaná and Barcelona. Our cities have indicators ranging from 47 to 130 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants.

Is there really an opposition in Venezuela?

"La Mesa de la Unidad Democrática" (MUD) is an alliance of parties formed by "opposition" parties and has been for many years. However, it is worth questioning whether they are really opponents, if one analyzes the policies of the largest parties of this alliance one can realize that the majority are center-left parties, really, all the important parties and that they have some kind of power within the organization call themselves socialists, such is the case of Acción Democrática, Primero Justicia or Voluntad Popular, among others.

How is a socialist party supposed to be the opposition of a socialist party? it is absurd, ideologically they are sisters, this is something really worrying, it would be very innocent to think that there have been no agreements under the table, this is something more than remarkable when we see, for example, the results of the "dialogues"... Nothing, absolutely nothing, just more oxygen to a government that has already repeatedly said, "We will never give up power".

It is an opposition that makes mistakes and makes the worst decisions at critical times when leadership is most needed, an opposition that contradicts itself by saying that it is a dictatorship, but believes that in an election they will be able to do something when it is known that they are rigged just as the previous elections were and that is why the company in charge of the voting machines had to cease operations due to such a scandal.

Venezuela is a dictatorship, obviously, it is a kidnapped state whose power it does not want to hand over by any means. This is why they repress protests, repress news channels to show absolutely nothing that does not support the government or is negative for it and even require manipulating the results of the elections, the fact of having inepts as representatives of "opposition" is simply another factor of the problem, politically nothing is achieved, they simply seek to remain in the political scene, that is why they have lost an immense amount of support and Venezuelans have tried to find a movement that means real change.

The World Justice Project, in its latest Rule of Law Index, ranks Venezuela at the bottom of the list of 102 countries that are evaluated on the quality of justice. Nine factors are included, such as the absence of corruption, fundamental rights, order and security, civil, criminal and informal justice, among others.

The serious economic, social and political situation that the country is going through causes great despair among the population, due to this and to the uselessness and inefficiency of the "MUD", people like Javier Bertucci have gained great support from a sector of the population, even though they are involved in "issues" such as the Papers of Panama and not only that, but he is just another socialist, as you can see in his "Plan of Government", if you can call "that" a plan of government, it explains absolutely nothing and can be summarized in 7 tweets... perhaps less.

But then what is the real opposition?

A real opposition for Venezuela must be one that really means a change, one that gives a 180-degree turn to the policies that are being implemented, it is time for Venezuela to have a capitalist government for the first time since Marcos Pérez Jiménez. Venezuela has the potential, you only need politicians who do things right, you need the "right" again to rescue a country from a disaster that the Communists once again caused.

Doing Business 2016 ranks Venezuela 186th out of 189 countries in terms of the ease with which it can do business. The World Economic Forum, in terms of competitiveness, ranked our country 132nd out of 140 nations.

The ORDEN Nationalist Movement seems to be the great candidate, it is a movement that is based on nationalist and conservative ideals, they disagree at all with any socialist or leftist policies. Although they have not yet been constituted as a political party as such, it is a movement that has gained considerable recognition for promoting realistic policies and for signifying a real change in politics, they have very similar ideas to those applied by Marcos Pérez Jiménez at the time, who was certainly the best president that Venezuela could have in its history.

Perhaps for some people it may sound a bit "extremist", before drawing conclusions, I invite you to read the Movement's FAQ, and even if extreme situations need extreme measures, a big change in all kinds of policies is needed to start an economic recovery, it takes a big change in social policies and punishing crime with a strong hand and even cruelty to be able to "cure" society, and most importantly, it takes education, not to fall back into the same trap again because of choosing an inept who wants to implement even more inept ideas...
