Where are my 2000+ followers?!
Nothing more frustrating than building your blog for 2+ years, having 2000+ followers and getting just 3 or 4 upvotes. Seriously though!
This year has been super frustrating for me so far, with my Steemit blog. I hardly have any inspiration because let's face it, I have very little feedback/interactions/engagement than I've ever had since I started my blog in 2016. I have tried almost everything and still my posts are undervalued.
I always try to keep myself positive and motivated, though it's hard when you're basically writting and creating content that very few people will actually see.
I would love to read your thoughts on this matter, specially if you're one of the early Steemit bloggers, also any tips are appreciated... I seem to be having way more interactions in other social media like Instagram, so I know my content is good, but why so little Steemit action?
There seems to have been a big drop in active human users on the platform.
I think it is a mistake to put too much weight in the follow count. SteemIt seems to be plagued by "resteem" bots that autofollow for the sole purpose of selling resteem service. I've been purging the accounts that just sell resteem services.
I hope that the folks at Steem can figure out ways to encourage more human interaction the platform.
@yintercept, Thanks so much for your comment, a couple of months ago my dear friend @anahilarski also mentioned this as a problem... I really feel so frustrated that this is happening! I also have the hardest time finding the good quality posts from the users that I follow.
I hope this gets fixed soon, otherwise it's quite a boring experience, lol!

I'm agree, I feel the same, mostly I try to upvote and comment photography post everyday but I also feel kind of desmotivated because I dón receive comments of my also 2000+ followers. It's weird, I think most people are just posting, waiting for high upvotes and that's all, and I admit I get used to it :/
@fakj94, I believe it's super important to keep up oting and posting, but OMG the struggle is real!
I have so much trouble finding the good posts to upvote and my feed is full of bots, which I hate because I don't follow those accounts.
I started blogging on Steemit when most posts had a value of $0.00 or $0.01 so I don't care so much about the $ but rather the community losses that are being a real problem on Steemit nowadays.
