Steemhomework day 169: The need for rest for teachers at Christmas.

A teacher is someone who teaches others what he has learned. Many times teachers tend to spend a lot of time in classrooms and do not have enough time to do leisure activities, family and home activities or something that I think is very important in these times we live where the information changes very fast and diffuses at the speed of light, updating or acquiring new knowledge.

Many people use the Christmas and New Year holidays to travel and visit those relatives who for some reason or other have time that they do not see, in my case I traveled to the small town where my maternal grandparents resided and there we met with all the family the same as me. What good times those! with my parents, grandparents, uncles, cousins and friends.

Currently I take this time to rest at home and share with my closest family, also to do all those activities of the home that for the lack of time while we are in school seasons I do not perform.

But I also consider, as I mentioned before, that something very important to do is to update our knowledge, through books, internet, etc., to offer updated and more extensive information to the students, according to the topic to be taught. At the moment the information flows very fast, due to the means of communication like the internet and there are many people investigating on new subjects that do not skimp on sharing.

I also take the opportunity to learn about new topics of interest that arise in the school year but that I could not meet due to lack of time.

Other teacher friends, who are not so familiar but somewhat materialistic, take advantage of this vacation to get a job of short duration and thus earn extra income that helps them to train and continue to grow in their professional career or to maintain their style of work. life either to spend on travel, new cars among other things.

Personally, I think Christmas and New Year holidays are the best time to devote to the family and the acquisition of more knowledge. In addition to resting to replenish the energy we spend in the school period. @steemiteducation
