My new factory of organic fertilizer | The California Worms!

in #farms8 years ago

A few days ago, I received a gift of a Californian worm, and I had time to buy an initial strain to produce my own fertilizer based on the waste of coffee.
A week ago I made the first division of the initial strain, and it has evolved very well, I am currently learning a lot about the care and reproduction of these animals, which have a fabulous function in the ecosystem.
The California earthworm moves forward digging into the ground as it eats, depositing its droppings and converting this soil into a much more fertile soil than can be achieved with the best artificial fertilizers. The waste is transformed into Humus, natural fertilizer par excellence. Humus is the excrement of the earthworm.

I will be already documenting every step you take with these worms, in order to provide them with information, so they can have their own crops and thus turn their organic waste into a great organic fertilizer for your garden or urban garden!
Note: the audio of the video is in Spanish, there I talk a little about the worms.
