Strong Mind Strong Body

The mind and the body are connected and understanding the connection can help anyone reach his full potential. No matter if you are an athlete or a CEO of a company, healthy mind and healthy body are the foundations of any success we create.
There is a saying that whatever you put in your mind comes out of your body and it works both ways. Have you ever been around a person that you don't even know and you haven't spoken to but you feel negative or ambivalent energy just standing around him? I think we all have and sometimes we are that person either we know it or not. The reason that our body projects negative energy is because we feed our mind with negative "food"(thoughts). We have to understand that our thoughts become our actions(or the lack of actions) and our body is the manifestation of what is happening in our minds. When you think negative and you "feed" your consciousness with negative information(TV, news, listening to people complaining about stuff etc.) you unconsciously give your body signals to project negative output. And it works the other way around, feeding your body with bad food and not exercising regularly will cause your body to feel bad and tired and overwhelmed and therefore your mind will feel the same.
That is why it is important to receive positive information and energy on a regular basis as well as eating healthy and exercising, so that the connection between your mind and you body stays positive and healthy. There are numerous ways of doing that and here are some of the best ones that I have found to work always:

-Act as if - this is so old and so true, if you want to feel positive and feel happy and feel energetic, then act as if you are already and keep acting and eventually you will feel that way;
-Positive self-talk - say positive things to yourself, most of the times inspirational quotes work great, other times it's just some good affirmations you can say to yourself. I found that self motivation works best when you say good things about yourself that will make you feel good.
-Taking action - the best way to keep your mind and body sharp and full of positive energy and enthusiasm is taking action! Taking action to say positive things to yourself, taking action to build a good diet and exercising routine, taking action if the foundation of all creation. And the best time to act is NOW!
