ALL STAR WEEKEND. ARE YOU READY?
For many of you, this Friday represents the beginning of a weekend to rest from long carnivals, work at home or simply spend time with family, however, from Friday February 16 to Sunday 18 lovers of especially the NBA sports, we will be in presence (I include this server @danielct) of the mid-season show of the best basketball in the world known as the weekend of stars.
Starting with the rookies and second-year players game (Rising Stars), which this year brings an unparalleled appeal where the team of the United States will face against the rest of the world team (international players), which will give a extra to see debutantes players and those who already have a year playing in the league get together and give us a good compromise to start this emotional weekend.
On Saturday, February 17, the NBA presents a set of individual events among which we have: skill competition, triple competition and dunk competition.
First, the skill competition is that each of the participants will demonstrate their skills with the ball and their scoring ability, which will result in the best time to finish the circuit. The players will be of different positions demonstrating the high level players that the modern basketball breaks all the schemes.
For its part, the competition of three points is defined by itself, is that each competitor will have a time limit to dunk as many points at different angles of the line of three points. This year we will participate in the presence of many of the best scorers of triples that will be worth watching this show.
Finally, Saturday night presents the most important competition for most fans of the NBA, the competition of diving. Although the past few years has noticeably declined to a point that the fan and the players themselves have been losing the fascination that previous years generated such competition, but no doubt this year will come high-caliber competitors who will give the most of their talents to rekindle that flame by this modality.
Sunday as the most anticipated day of this weekend for all its fans, the NBA presents the game of the stars. This year with a particular format in which the most voted player of each conference had the privilege of selecting his team with players linked from both conferences, which gives him an unparalleled appeal.
Of this party one has very high expectations that allow him again to be striking the classic one of half of season.
The absences.
This year has been characteristic for the large number of injuries (serious in many occasions) that we have had to witness, which is affected in a certain way to these competitions.
Absent: Demarcus Cousins, Aaron Gordon, Kevin Love, Kristan Porzingis, John Wall, Lonzo Ball.
Replacements: Paul George, Andree Drommound, Goran Dragic and Kemba Walker.
However, the injuries will not be enough to overshadow an event of such magnitude expected by every basketball lover.

Good to have more basketball people posting on Steemit Daniel! Saturday night is always my favorite, I'm excited to see what Larry Nance & Dennis Smith Jr can pull off in the dunk contest.
Hopefully the new All Star Game Format will make the game more watchable on Sunday.
Really exciting this weekend. To enjoy it from beginning to end.
