The Matchsticks People's World

I like handcrafting, I like to take pictures and I like matchsticks. When these three are combined.. well.. I can probably spend days doing it. If you google matchstick art may be you'll be quite surprise how creative people can be. When I was a little girl, one friend of my father thought me to do super cool cubes only of matchsticks(no glue). I was really excited and spent many many hours doing them, it was not easy at all! I don't remember how to do these cubes now, but I keep my respect towards the matches. I would like to share with you a little matchsticks work today. The idea is not new, there are some really cool photos with matchsticks people. I think it is pretty cool, so I create several guys and get outside to experiment with them. This is my first attempt, just to see what will come up and I love it, but I know can do it so much better.

This guy had a really cool girlfriend at first, but she fell in the river. Rest in peace. I made him another one even cooler though. It was harder doing them outside because my glue was not good enough. It was easier with a silicone gun, but it is not so clean, it leaves lots of traces, so I should probably find a better glue.
