Knowledge and understanding however, having the power to comprehend obscure fact based rules that can be used to achieve noble objectives in life is wisdom. It is the ability to think and act at a level and in a manner that ensures that various decisions reach certain positive results.

Let the wise words of King Solomon and his remarkable journey be an example. In decision making Solomon ask God for wisdom, instead of requesting for riches and power from God.This decision marked the beginning of his remarkable journey as a wise leader.

With his newfound wisdom, Solomon navigated complex situations with ease. He made just decisions, like settling the dispute between the two women claiming the same baby. His wise ruling not only resolved the conflict but also showcased his understanding of human nature.

Solomon's wisdom also guided him in building the Temple in Jerusalem, a monumental task that required architectural and engineering expertise. His success in this endeavor demonstrated his ability to apply wisdom in practical ways.

King Solomon is a classic example of how wisdom does not come with a crown at the expense of other people. What Solomon said to God he wanted when God brought him everything he wanted, Solomon asked for wisdom not for material things and power. It was the start of the great journey of this wise man, this man - the president.

With the acquired knowledge, Solomon was well equipped to deal with complicated issues at hand. He exhibited good judgements, like in the case where two women were presenting a baby and both laid claim to it. His judicial decision not only settled the dispute but also seemed to have a profound grasp of human behavior.

For instance, during the Nigerian Civil War which took place between 1967 and 1970, it was very important to be wise while dealing with the inter-ethnic and, political conflicts. Some of Nigeria’s leaders like General Yakubu Gowon and Chief Obafemi Awolowo also applied wise measures in matters of trying to Engineer a lasting peace and the reconstruction of the nation.
Moreover, there are insecurities in the country today, the state of the economy, and social unrest that calls for wise leadership in present-day Nigeria.

Thus, by attempting to acquire knowledge and using it as a guide, people in Nigeria can gradually ensure that the society becomes less violent, economically stable, and united. This means that the ultimate thing which is most important is Wisdom therefore what you have to do is acquire wisdom and when acquiring it, acquire understanding at the same time.

Therefore, wisdom is something important and that can help one to lead life and to face tests. If the Nigerian populace chooses to embrace wisdom, they and the next generation stand a better chance of making the future better, solving current conflicts and rightly fulfilling the alleged purpose of the Nigerian state to be a beacon of hope for all.
