The End of the World
Part 4 in my Journey to Antarctica. If you enjoy the stories and photos, please comment and let me know!
An early morning wakeup and a bumpy flight carried me from the beautiful Buenos Aires to the city at the end of the world: Ushuaia.
Where the Andes mountains meet the Sea: Ushuaia, Argentina.
Commonly recognized as the world's southernmost city, Ushuaia truly feels like lands end: from above I see imposing mountains broken into small islands as they meet the sea, before being completely swallowed whole.
After landing, I was fed a pleasant lunch before going out for a short hike in the surrounding mountains. Cool, fresh air fills my lungs as I walk along the small dirt paths. Standing at an overlook I see the town below: The way it clings to the pristine landscape serves as a reminder of man's frail grasp in this harsh, yet beautiful, land.
Good Luck in your Journey! We'll be waiting for Updates
Hope you're enjoying it so far!
I've been ready for the end of the world every since I saw mad Max is a child bring it!
