Thankful For Finding Steemit

Being from Sweden I do not celebrate Thanksgiving but I do think it's an awesome holiday. Because being thankful is the key to happiness.

You can live in a palace, with 500 acres and a big swimming pool, and a butler that will make you a coffee in the morning. However it doesn't guarantee your happiness. If you do not appreciate all these things and just look for new things to fill the emptiness inside you, than there is nothing saying that you would be more happy than your butler or your pool boy or your poor Neighbour.

We directly associate money with happiness. It's society that has brainwashed us to think that materialism and a "successful" career is the way too live. In the same time nearly 70 percent of Americans are on at least one prescription drug, and more than half receive at least two prescriptions. The use of antidepressant have more than doubled in just a few years.

So are we living the life we want that is natural and good for us ? Are we free owning a house and having a job ? Many of us are slaves to the money printing fanatics that control the world and most of us will owe money to the bankers for our entire lifetime. Unless ...

I am thankful that I have finally found a way out. A way to create my own independent future. Finding Steemit and cryptocurrency is really a blessing.

Sure I don't have 50 bitcoins and I didn't buy ethereum either when it was just a few dollars. But that's okay. I am thankful still that I have found Steemit and Steem and to have that be an early stepping stone into the crypto world.

We must consider ourselves very thankful for still finding it at such an early stage. Who knows how much one Steem will be worth a few years down the road ?
The sky is the limit !

But through the journey I want to enjoy it and spend each day being thankful. However things pan out I have my lovely wife and family by my side and there is no money in the world that could replace that happiness anyways.

The bottom line is let's focus on the good. We have an awesome community here and I am really looking forward to see it develop further ! Each day we can find something positive if we try we just have to keep an open mind and who knows we might just find it right in front of our noses.
