Are There Sharks In Your Drink?

I made this 3D illustration recently. I was inspired by an article that said that if alcohol was introduced in society today it would most likely be illegal in most countries!
It is interesting that alcohol is so socially accepted. What if we took another drug such as amphetamine and legalize it, that would be completely crazy right ? The fact though is that on the list of most dangerous drugs, alcohol is much higher then amphetamine. Alcohol is actually listed as the fourth most dangerous drug in the world while amphetamine is in ninth place.

So why is alcohol legalized in most places ? The reason is believed to be because it was introduced universally very early on in society, it has even been apart of some religious ceremonies.
The fact is that at first glance we don't think of
