A lot of people are under the pressure of measuring up to some certain societal standards of living without considering if they can afford it. It amazes me how far people can go to live fake lives, every girl wants to become a slay queen even old people and every guy wants to become slay King. Funny enough people just generate words like slay, trend etc to cover up their fake lives.
People want to go mad just to trend. And you imagine what are they looking for or what is looking for them? who is putting them under pressure. Many people are so indebted or even turned beggars, prostitutes and thieves just to measure up to unhealthy societal standards. Behind all the slaying and trending comes strange feelings of emptiness or better put the realization of not being fulfilled, they always want to do more but can never find fulfilment in all these mundane things.
Who will talk sense to this generation? who will stand out? who will be bold enough to stay original? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

So true... many people lives inauthentic lifestyle and they try to buy things to impress others when deep down, they are miserable and having to constantly improve themselves. Its sad in the world we live in but the best thing to do is do what makes you happy for a living most and do not care what other people think of you. Its sometimes hard to accomplish since you are conditioned to keep up with the rat race...
