Weekly CRICKET Review - II | SKY is the Limit
So, how are you, my cricket buddies? It's the end of a very busy week in the Cricket world and more to come. So, are you updated on what's going on here? No worries! Let's see.
It's just 12 days to go before the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022. So, as I said in the last week via, Quick review - I, the teams are finalized. And as a major blow, India's triumph cardBumrah was ruled out due to an injury, and hilariously Hetmyer missed the plane. 😅
There were 3 main t20 tournaments that were finished in the last week with a lot of fun and excitement.
- India won the series against Australia
Well, as I share the last week India leveled the series in the second match. So, crucial series decider was held on the 25th of September. Australia put a good total of 186 on the board again with the help of Green's and Tim David's half tonnes. I am very impressed with Greene's performance in the series, both with the bat and ball. Another Watson/ or a captain in the making? Well, let's see. Anyway, after losing 2 wickets early SKY and VK showed a blinder.

Well, SKY is in red hot form. He is just like AB, with no fear, no pressure, and with shots all around the ground. And VK just showed his class again. I have never seen Tendulkar's whole career. But I have witnessed this how this guy conquered eventually.
- More drama between England and Pakistan
It was a big 7-match series. Yet the winner was selected in the last game. That much it was competitive. As I said after 3 matches England was leading 2-1. The fourth and fifth matches were low scoring compared to others. England couldn't chase down 166 and 145 runs respectively. Pakistan bowlers did a great job.
But then it was carnage from England batters. In the sixth game, they chased down 170 runs within 15 overs. Brutal batting from Phil Salt. And in the decider, England scores 200+ runs again and won it comfortably. We have seen England's batting skills over the past few years. Now they have found out some more. Harry Brook was the Man of the Series as well.
- Killer Miller and SKY
South Africa hasn't lost a series against India since 2019 but defeated this series. The first match was no fun, SA could only manage 106 runs and India managed it quite comfortably. The second one was a high-scoring thriller. India scored 237 runs with great innings by the top 4. SA lost 2 wickets quickly. But Miller had other plans. He scored a brilliant hundred and the game was on until the last over. But the target was too high for them, ending up scoring only 221 runs.

And in the third one again SA scored 227 runs with the tonne Rossouw, winning the match comfortably. SKY played both series wonderfully. He was the man of the series too. But S captain, Bavum could only score 3 runs. A series to forget.
- Road Safety Legends series was won by India
Well, I am not happy about the organizing. They just changed the rules as they wish, just for favoritism. It's not good for the gentleman's game at all. Anyhow Sri Lanka lost again a final to India.
So did I miss something? Just give a comment!
Until the next time! Enjoy!
Thank you.
Best Regards!
