Stay Strong Sri Lanka! | Let's march for the course!

Hi, it's me Damith. Hope you could still remember me. 😅 Can't believe almost a year has passed without blogging here. Well, it's been a dramatic year, I guess. Being in the construction field is not that easy. My friends here will approve of that.😅 Ironically life has given me a little break these days. This time I will not be vanished for so long. 😛

Well, nothing there to explain that Sri Lanka going through a rough phase. People are struggling to find their basic needs, and youth are desperate about their future, schools, and universities are slowly/ hardly functioning, and medicines and essential items are slowly decreasing in the country. Lots of industries are going to hell including tourism, the construction field, agriculture, and the list goes on. So, yeah it's not pretty good.

The best thing that happened recently is people showed their potential in the last few months. There may be some criticisms, but we did achieve some amazing things. Yeah, I know what you think. Now the government has taken some control and shown its true nature, trying to make the activists terrorists, etc. Despite finding the answers to real problems they are taking personal revenge.

But believe me, that's not possible for a long time. Immediately people wouldn't be able to bear this burden. With the things happening now in the country, there will be serious consequences in the future. Already there is a huge brain drain from the country, the important parts of the country have been already sold, and the education system has broken. These things are very critical and are very hard to recover.

But in short term, I fear more about a shortage of food and medicine. Quick decisions have to be taken to overcome these things, meanwhile ensuring the education of children. I believe Dr.Weerasinghe, governor of the Central Bank is doing something. But the sadness is these politicians are still acting like assholes and there is a gang of people who are still worshipping these idiots. Still haven't seen the damage done to our beautiful motherland.

So, now it's time to do our responsibilities to go through this rough journey. Without losing that rhythm, we should try to bring systemic change in Sri Lanka. Always represent that. And most importantly, try to look after one another, who are in big trouble.

Let's hope for the best! Let's build the nation together!
