THE STORY BEHIND STARBUCKS LOGO🤔👀🕵️♀️
Starbucks is my favourite coffee of all, I drink it almost every day. But seeing often the logo of this delicious coffee brand I never knew the history behind it. What does the green thing on all the coffee cups represent?
I decided to look into it and here's what I found out about the coffee we are all so fond of!
A small coffee shop named "Starbucks" which was located in the Seattle city waterfront was looking for a logo. They wanted to connect and tell a seafaring history of the city.
The three founders hired a consultant named Terry Heckler. Heckler was seeking his muse in old marine books until he came up with a logo based on an old 16th-century Norse woodcut: a two-tailed mermaid.
What was exciting about that two-tailed mermaid is that it was very exotic and topless as well😬😬😬. Despite the controversy with the breasts of the mermaid Starbucks decided to roll with it anyway.
They said that it goes with the fact that bare breasts and Rubenesque was supposed to be as seductive as coffee itself. Pretty interesting!
But when the time came to put the logo on the delivery trucks it seemed way more problematic than it did before - the logo was huge... so were the mermaid’s breasts.
Starbucks solved the problem by restyling the mermaid’s hairdo so it draped over the trouble spots. 😁😁😁

The actual story is something like this. That logo is a subliminal form of marketing to induce a desire to come to "her" - the logo (but in the form of nutrition consumerism). Nice post; Upvoted!

Yep! And also in the original it looked line that mermaid was pulling her flippers behind her ears -- about as erotic as it gets ;)

fun fact: The McDonalds "M" logo are boobs. Bit boobs of a mother who gives milk. They've styled it that way, so when you see the M, you subliminally want to go to mama and get your milk...
