THE MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT IN MY LIFE😬😬🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Was chatting with my friend yesterday, she is a nice girl but she can’t find a guy she would really like.She told me that recently all her dates she goes to are kind of “failures” - this made me remember a “failure” I had long time ago, more of an embarrassing story of mine when I had to break up with a guy...

It was my second year of university, I met this guy, I actually don’t remember how and where I met him, but I remember very clearly the way we stopped seeing each other😬

On our first date he took me to a “Pancake House” in the city, it was a very quiet date, we didn’t really talk much. He was one of those guys who are book smart, but not really talkative, but when he would talk he would talk very slowly without any emotions, dragging the idea he tries to deliver for a very long time🙄(Just spit it out already!!!😭)He was a little bit boring, I’m sorry to say that.Its not that I’m the most entertaining or funny person in the world but there are people with whom you click right away and those who will never match you.

I never judge people for what they wear, and this guy was very wealthy but the way he dressed was bugging me big time.He would match white shirt with white pants, white shoes and white socks.It just looked so tasteless to me, I couldn’t bear it😑

So I decided to do something as many guys do these days just not answer his text messages or his calls, kinda give him a hint to what’s happening and skip the awkward: “it won’t work” part.Little that I know I was skipping the awkward to jump into more awkward, deep dark awkwardness🤦‍♀️

Me and my best friend were walking down the street when he called.

I was like: It’s him calling!
My friend said: Pick up!Why don’t you pick up?And I said: Because he annoys me!The way he talks, the way he dresses: white, white, white.I cant stand it!

She started laughing and I started laughing as well.Then I looked at my phone and I realized: I pressed the green button, I picked up the phone and he heard every single word I said and what my friend said and our laughs: EVERYTHING!!! I was soooo embarrassed, I felt really bad.One thing to discuss a guy with your friend, and another is when he hears everything. It must have hurt him, and I am really sorry.After that I never heard from him again.I was young and stupid, please don’t judge me😬
