The parable of the wicked husbandmen tells us about the treatment that the chief priests and Pharisees gave to the Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ.

Just as Peter and John spoke to the people and announced the resurrection of the dead in Jesus. The priests and Pharisees took them prisoner and being questioned, they asked them with what power they did that? They answered that in the name of Jesus of Nazareth whom you crucified but God rose from the dead.

In addition, Peter and John told all of the family of the high priests that this Jesus whom you delivered and denied before Pilate, when he had decided to release him, but you preferred a murderer (Barabas), thus killing to the author of life, whom God raised from the dead, this Jesus became the reprobate stone of you builders.

Only in Jesus is there salvation; and there is no other name in which we can be saved, and although the high priests threatened them so that they would no longer speak in the name of Jesus, they responded "judge if he is righteous before God, obey you rather than God."

Just as the wicked husbandmen drove out the son of the owner of the vineyard and killed him, so they did to the Son of God, but just as the lord of the vineyard will mercilessly destroy the wicked husbandmen and hand him over to someone else who will pay him the fruit in due time.

Also the kingdom of God will be taken away from all those who rejected it, and it will be given to people who produce the fruits of Him, and whoever falls on this stone will be broken. But there are those on whom this stone will fall, because I will be crushed.

God is love but he is also a consuming fire and will pay us according to what we do.
