Welcome back to your Crypto Speed Dating experience, where you can get to know Alt coins fast and with a simple explanation of what it does.

To Recap how this goes, the point of this little exercise is to save people from getting bogged down forever reading white papers, as there are so many Alt Coins out there and a lot are just not worth your time!
Others however, are Diamonds in the rough, just waiting to be found and can make us ridiculous returns in the future.
My aim is to help you uncover some of those better opportunities and I will give you a quick profile on all the different Alt Coins as I move through them part by part.
Hopefully I can assist you in separating the promising coins from the potential junk ones quickly, so you only spend time researching the coins that interest you most.

I will also provide my own rating for each one but regardless of my score, I will include the link to the Alt Coins website underneath for you to check out if you want to.

The Market has taken a hammering of late and buy prices are some of the best I have seen, so it is the perfect time to pounce on any that catch your eye.
Lets take a look at today's four Alt Coins attractions and see if we have some keepers.

PIVX (PIVX) Current Price: $4.73 USD or $6.02 AUD All Time High Price: $13.97 USD

PIVX stands for Private Instant Verified Transaction and is a privacy coin created out of a fork of DASH.
PIVX inherited all the technical features of DASH such as masternodes, instant send and private transfer.
It is a form of cryptocurrency that by using Blockchain technology, can be easily transferred all around the world in a blink of an eye with very low transaction fees and it has market leading security & privacy.
PIVX is the fastest and lowest cost privacy coin and uses a custom Proof of Stake (PoS) system.
This means that PIVX cannot be mined, but you may earn a reward by staking it in your online wallet.
PIVX is also the first cryptocurrency project to translate it’s website and materials into over 30+ native languages, providing access to information about cryptocurrency and PIVX in individuals most familiar language.
It is already being accepted and used by merchants online and in physical locations all around the world.

Privacy coins are expected to perform strongly in 2018 and if this is the case, you can expect PIVX to have a strong rise in value.
With only a 55 million supply, any price under $5 USD is a steal for this coin.
In my opinion this is one of the safer coins of 2018 to invest in, as governments are still a long way from having any sort of regulation or control over the Privacy Alt Coins.

DragonChain (DRGN) Current Price: $1.15 USD or $1.47 AUD All Time High Price: $5.20 USD

Disney backed DragonChain is building relationships with companies to help them bring their product onto the Blockchain.
DragonChain is a sleeping giant as it has already worked through 20 or so use cases while in development to tweak the initial implementation of their platform.
While some companies struggle to find use cases after they have completed their product, DragonChain has a secure way to simplify the integration of real business applications onto the Blockchain.
In short DragonChain is designed to be developer friendly to Business' and will make it easy for even the most hesitant of those to set up on the Blockchain. As well as the Disney backing they also have completed use cases as per above which will build trust in their brand.
Businesses around the globe are currently spending huge money on Blockchain technology and Dragonchain is well placed to cash in on that.
Dragonchain can offer business all the tools and scalability they need to be successful on the Blockchain.
Dragonchain also boast they can bring faster speed to market for businesses, which reduces the development costs they may have adopting Blockchain technology elsewhere.

👍👍👍👍👍 - A lot of development platform competition out there but I think DragonChain would have to be in the top %10 of those given the Disney backing and the proven use cases.
Unlike a lot of others, DragonChain does not just give businesses a platform to build on, they also offer a lot of ongoing support.
DragonChain also allows companies to use programming languages they are already familiar with when they take advantage of Blockchain features.
With the current market woes, it's a great time to stock up on some Dragon coins and whilst all Alt Coins are risky, DragonChain would be one of the safer bets out there.

Verge (XVG) Current Price: 4c USD or 5c AUD All Time High Price: 26c USD
