PASSION. THE MISSING INGREDIENT.

Excitement with no Passion is great, except for one thing.  That's like a cup with fuel inside it and you ignite the fuel; it burns bright and strong, but dies out soon.  Now, Excitement with Passion; passion for your company, your group, your organization, your team - you name it.  But when you add passion to the mix; that's like those WoodWick candles that burn for months on end, big difference.  If you don't have passion for what it is you do - don't fret.  Not all is lost.  This doesn't mean that the organization is bad, no.  All it means is that you simply need to find your passion.  If you truly believe in your companies' product or service, that may be enough for you.  That passion will give you the courage to excel in areas where others would normally just quit.  Because you have passion; you can endure adversity - that's powerful.  We're all going to encounter adversity, it's inevitable.  I'm not the first to say it, but I'll say it because it's true - The numbers are the numbers are the numbers.  They just are.  Think of Passion as the force that propels you in the right direction.  Don't get me wrong, passion alone isn't enough to succeed, but it is that key ingredient that keeps you in the game.
