Circles and emphatic stomping is Jerry’s way of expressing a desire along with some head waves and snorting We thought it would be a challenge to get him to take it and man were we mistaken, just need to point the eye dropper at him and he starts licking.
Jerry used to try put his teeth on the glass dropper making a clicking sound lately I have noticed he actually gets his mouth around it and sucks on it like a tit. This stuff at only half the dose suggested for his weight has been effective at calming Jerry enough he feel comfortable in our space.
We went for a road trip last weekend and gave him a full dose and Jerry was content to just laydown till we got to our destination... a patient Jerry was odd but really highlighted how we often interpret his anxiety as excitement as without the anxiety while driving Jerry didn’t even start whining in the Tim Horton's drive thru

Yea Jerry is a nut for treats or food, do you call it a treat? We call it his Hemp Treat so even just saying hemp now he knows what we mean. He does enjoy the taste but I honestly believe he has made the association to it making him feel relaxed 😌 not baked or high but his nerves are definitely less on edge.
yeah Hera has artrosis and this helps with the pain. We don’t call it a treat though, we might as well start doing so haha
