Should STEEM Blockchain Allow Pruning Of Certain Data To Keep Costs Low?
Should STEEM Blockchain Allow Pruning Of Certain Data To Keep Costs Low?
I've been using Magic Dice for a while and I've got myself over 95K Magic Tokens and I think it has great potential. But I figured out that after 1000+ Transactions, these Custom JASON files on STEEM will loose value very soon. After 1 year they would be more of burden than anything that drive the cost of our Massive Blockchain.
So Do you think it's a good idea to prune certain kinds of data like Magic Dice](https://magic-dice.com/?ref=d-zero) transactions?
- Good idea. Not all data is equal
- Nope. That would ruin our reputation
- Undecided
- Cautiously willing to try out
- I've already been calligraphy for this change.

That goes against general blockchain princeiples, but why not. I'm annoyed with 0.00002 Steem votes and micro-transactions.

But we have to be very slow and cautious.
