Today I bring you a new and working innovation from the French multinational company Alstom. They already have 2 trains in service and they have zero carbon emissions. Two Coradia iLint trains(That's the name Alstom gave to their new product) have begun working the line between Cuxhaven and Buxtehude just west of Hamburg, Germany. It's about 100Km in distance. The project was partially funded by the German government as part of the National Innovation Program for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology (NIP). Producing these fuel cells still cause pollution and other environmental impacts. But innovation matters!!!

Hydrogen fuel cells were expensive at one point. They were adopted for buses and didn't see a lot of adoption. Hopefully technology can bring down costs for this to be adopted at large scale. Good hunt.

Coradia ilint is an advanced technological train. This train is very beautiful. Its hourly distance is about 100 kilometers. Very beautiful Hunter.
I really loved this train, what a great change it can bring to our environment as well as economy. And look at their project status, they went live now commercially ( 2 days back) within 2 years of the concept demonstration. That shows the dedication of the team and even the support from the govt is amazing.
World need to see this and adopt to these kind of solutions to help our environment from Global warming.
It is a brilliant innovation to adopt clean energy to protect natural environment for future generations. Hopefully this project grows to other countries as well.

while many specialist are talking about the risks of hydrogen source to produce electric power some people have already proved this technology I guess. Its a huge improvement I hope hydrogen usage can be secure in these working products cause so that they can be a big example for the rest. No matter what, the future is electric, great hunt!
It's always exciting to see new propulsions based on clean energy. Another advantage in addition to zero pollution is that the train is quiet.
You're right. These trains may not be a zero-impact vehicle, but the research and innovation involved is a step in the right direction. I also like that this technology is being applied to mass transportation, and not another commercial vehicle since adoption at this level can have a big impact in convincing people to switch from fossil fuel powered vehicles.
