That's not a UFO - That's Moon - Smartphone photography

I honestly don't know a whole lot about photography. steepshot kind of re-kindled my interest in it. I'm really fascinated by the effects of Night Photography with a smartphone. It really convince me that what the lens see is not what the eyes see. Photography is a different world of its own. When I snapped this pic, I couldn't see what I was aiming at. So I had to try several times to capture the moon along with the trees.

That's when I realized that the size of the moon change from photo to photo. It was all about lighting. I've always liked the moon and while I was out I wanted to find a place to photograph the moon seen through the trees.

In real life, the foreground was much darker ad the background was much lighter. (I hope I'm using the terminology correctly) The moon was several times bigger and I could make up the round shape. But the photo looks like a UFO. I really want you guys to test if you can sell this is a UFO pic. Just ask some people if this looks like a UFO. Tell them moon isn't this small in real life. Don't go around spreading lies. Just try to get a response from them on the pic.

I think what happened was that the moonlight lost some intensity due to some of the leaves and the cheap camera lens failed to capture a portion of the moonlight editing out a considerable part of the moon out of the picture. The picture was taken while it was 3/4 of a full moon.
