The world's not about to end [Day 41]
The world's not about to end
The sheen of snow in spring belies the times,
Suggestion of an armageddon bright.
As seen in whorls of ice the same as rhymes
Apocalyptic fantasies of night.
In wind that whistles whispers from afar
I fall against opacity of fate.
Streaming from a gelid, distant star
Conveyèd by the harbingers of late.
The furnace of the soul berates the chill
Of angels dark and demons bearing jewels.
It silent rises 'gainst the frosted hill
To climb the mount despite the wail of fools.
Night sky that seems to cry "The end is near"
Quiets when the morn dissolves its fear.

The world is not about to end, perhaps if we admire the essential waiting... of each snowflake that is fade to give way to the spring, that when the flowers stop sprouting are to see fall and beautify the view with vivid colors, appreciated as they darken in landscape fall, finally enjoy the sun and the heat in front of the sea, that in its depth and the horizon my sight is lost, every cycle hoping that it is not the last, and not see how my breath fades.
I love your poetry, but I'm not very good at that I would like to continue reading.
woah.
There's no end of Lie and of the World.
Our existence and our universe is endless in this or that kind.
We just experience different transformations of living forms.
as well as the universe itself.
and it is the greatest power.
Nature and man die the pseudo-death a thousand times - in crisis, as day turns to night, as the snake sheds its skin, as love turns to heartbreak...a thousand pseudo-deaths and probably a thousand more gasps of surprise whenever life goes on... Beautiful words with potent reflections...Upvoted and followed
I loved the end, "Night sky that seems to cry "The end is near"
Quiets when the morn dissolves its fear."
Quite inspiring. And as always, prodigious writing. :D
Thank you for this very clear and bright response @d-pend.
I see a pattern in the rhyme: ABABA ABABA ABABA AA
Not sure if there is a syllable pattern.
It makes me smile and feel good inside. A great topic to write about.
Night sky that seems to cry "The end is near"
Quiets when the morn dissolves its fear.
Applause ... you have soothed the masses or at least me. This a quiet poem; although, it is rich and says much. That is a really unique accomplishment in penning, Bravo:)
Wonderful!!!! Nuff said!
This is the most unique and shortest poem i have seen... all sort of dimensions of poem comes from @d-pend.. Great write ups and best image to compliment the write ups.
A short, but sublimely beautiful poem....😍
Love the closing of this poem:
"Night sky that seems to cry "The end is near"
Quiets when the morn dissolves its fear."
Thanks for sharing, @d-pend ... 😍😍😍
