My treasure (your touch)
My treasure (your touch)
two original sonnetsMy treasure
Adventure is a wraith e'er impelled
Awander through the labyrinthe of souls
Elaborating on sweet captive held,
Imprisoned in the costume of our roles.
.
For once to find the treasure, twice to cry
Aloud the jubilation of the find.
Alack the golden trove from thence to die
A-vanished with the perishing of mind.
.
Yet of it I'll have none, no god's decree
Declare to me to glance from thy silv eyes
If death the body seize, all liberty
Remain in joyous peals of vict'ry cries.
.
For pirate as I may, so found I gold
In thee ecstasy, the prize, my hand to hold.
Your touch
If touch could be assessed, butchered and sold,
What grocer would appraise the tend'rest hand?
What pundit analyze, declaring mold,
All-vigilant, defend affection's land?
.
A land of paradox, a-candied sweet
With fences, subtle spikes, and vicious spires
If past the gates, pure paradise to meet,
If banished o'er the moat sunk in sick mires.
.
Where, drownèd in a swamp of mad despair,
A-mocked by loneliness, so left to rot
And enter purgatory's only lair
By absence of affection full besot.
.
Confounded though the clerk, the more was I
To find, without sweet touch, would surely die.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks so much @josediccus!!! Your applause buoys me =-)
Interesting treasure of words, seems you are a gate a channel for messages from the old world that never got sent, but we must ask are we ever finished are we truly ever finished when information is infinite. Thank you @d-pend
Indeed! I appreciate your wisdom @rensoul17
You know what's weird? I feel like I don't know english when I read this but also feel is beautiful, the way that words sound in my head and also how they look... I don't know how to explain it!
Wow I'm so happy to hear that @fabiyamada. I want anyone to be able to see the beauty, even if they don't "comprehend" on an intellectual level, so that is a great compliment, indeed!!
Yes! Exactly! There is beauty in words themselves! But there is also need of wisdom to arrange them to let that beauty appear :D
Have you read Plato's dialogue about words? It is so interesting!
Very true :)
No, I don't believe I have!
Thanks for the recommendation :D
Your interpretation invokes the imagination from the hidden depths of the mind. Transitions, rhythm and dynamics of emotion and madness bring a fading color in incredible poetry. Thank you for exellent poetry @d-pend
very unusual images and sence of reality
I like the 2nd poetry more, it's closer to me
creative people are aways from another world and it's great

Thank you for the words of encouragement and the feedback! I appreciate you @taliakerch!
The touch of souls - elevates the touch of the bodies ...
Very complex poems. But I like them.
I'm glad to hear you like my particular approach. Thanks @sstefan!
