Is it I or the snowfall?

Snowfall is a gentle nest
For the contemplation of beauty
.
Indestructible grace beyond the
Chaotic noise of humanity

.
Inverting the appearance
Febrility becomes strength
Rock-solid with deep reserves
Durability becomes feeble
Worm-eaten in evanescence
.
Snowfall is a soft ascendancy
A geometric updraft into pale realms,
Delicate cyclone of storytelling ice & air
Recording history in unique permutations of glass
.
Snowfall is the ivory papyrus of eternity
Diffracted into density,
Declothed through spheres descended,
Inscribing intricate spells in
Patient vectors

.
Slicing through the haggard aether
Is it I or the snowfall
That soars through slows eternity
And nests in banks of grass?

oh a fresh poem!
how long does it take to write it?
you have an idea and then create words or the poem just goes from somewhere by itself?
i tried some times to make them.. i succeed but it was so long! and i decided it's not my way then
it must be easy if it is yours yeah?

snow is real miracle, " ivory papyrus of eternity" - perfect comparison!
and the photo remind me how we go out after a night of snowfall and clean cars very long...)

Hi @taliakerch thank you for your great comment! Usually it doesn't take too long to create a poem, but it depends on its length, and how picky I am being. Probably from 20 minutes to 1 hour is average.

A lot of times I just let the inner idea come forth without trying to force what I am writing about, and it takes shape naturally. Other times I will come with a strong concept that I am wanting to convey.

When I first began to write poetry, it would take me a very long time to complete poems, and the inner voice of judgement would always keep pestering me about the flaws that it perceived. Like any art form, the most important thing is practice, being consistent, and enjoying the process. Anyone can become a great poet if they practice writing every day! It will become more fluid, quicker, and more fun as skill develops.

I'm so glad that phrase/ the poem in general evoked that image! I had to do that just today, and my car is already stacked with snow again!!

Thanks for reading my work and leaving your feedback!

Hi!))
do you have heavy snowfalls?) it must be magically beautiful! In the place where I live (the south of Russia) snow comes rarely, it's + 8 now)
cleaning of the snow is boring..BUT you can save time on morning exercises)) snow has prepared it for you))

about creativity -yes, I see your point. Practice makes perfect) I never had experience when some words came out of me in poetry. It seems to be I'm much better in prose. But sometimes I feel strong desire to make perfect rhymes about the definite idea and I try..try..try... it's long but I can do smth) It's much easier for me to make rhymes to my relatives' birthdays)
unfortunately, they dont have such a talant like me and tomorrow I will be without rhymes though it will be my birthday))

Nice pictures of the snow :) I am currently living in Berlin and i saw snow for the first time sometime in the morning of 9th december! It was a reminder for me of how grand nature is and we should all follow the flow of nature and not get caught up in our small worlds we create. The bigger picture :) It was such a humbling sight for me! Hope youre well

I certainly agree, and I appreciate you sharing your experience! Here's to maintaining awareness of the bigger picture at all times!

Wonderful photos and poetry! Thank you

Thanks very much for your comment and for stopping by my blog :-D

Snow in virtue, energy purifies residual chaos in fresh air.The worm hid in the cottage, the days of thinking become the light in the tunnel of enlightened flamboyant particles.
Frozen poetry inspires the excitement of the audience, the passion of pure emotion in the whirlpool of the celestial reflection of your poetry.
Thank you for this snow, wonderful poetry and true friendship @d-pend
