I know you are real
I know you are real
original poetryThe memories persist - sand and rain trickles
Down the slope of the barracks & dance hall,
Still the anti-gravity trampoline and the
Wooden blur of some warm bar - I want
To escape this place with you - you
Are someone, that is certain - I
Want to make it become real -
But we must find the right
Place, the right time, &
The right world. Where
is here? Somewhere
Beautiful, home
To somebody.
.
Fixations
.
Guttural
.
The miracle
The curse
The valley
The cliffs
Mountain peak
& endless ocean,
Warmth & warmth
Ice-blue, fire-red.
The insane amalgamations,
The longing become purified.
Even through the black noise
I remember that you are real.

Wo--j--just... Wow... Great work :D
Image poetry. Wonderful read. I like how you try to cut the lines to have an hour glass image. It just highlights the general feel of your poem and it just gives me a sense of the passage of time. Wooh! I am challenged to post my poem too. hahaha.
Beautful art and photo! Did you use a certain program to modify the photo?
Again it takes 3 reads before I catch it. Definitely worth it. Following this heroine through her journey I am taken from the pits of Jaba the Hut's intergalactic casino to the spiritual mountains of enlightenment. Finally the heroine confesses, "even through the black noise I remember that you are real." The black noise clouds us from seeing the human connection. Thank you for remembering me my friend.
It s magic..

Typically evocative, @d-pend. Mesmerized by the formatting, falling down rabbit-hole of text towards... "The longing become purified."
Wishing you a restorative and creative weekend, Daniel -
