All the sizzling neuronic volatility
Into transmuted trans-actions synthesized:
Brought into a rigid body to
Overcome their febrility.
Militant-affable
They assail the senses,
Steam with internal spice
Of expression impressed upon
A digital medium - pixel pizza.
The crowd said "not enough,"
What was heard was "too much..."
Buoyed themselves in foreign enclaves,
To consume exotic cuisine, enjoy the scenery,
To enjoyment slaves, but enjoy the slavery.
Misbehaving children scurry about
Like breadcrumbs and bits
Of old newspaper.
Just a portrait of mad sensibility
To convince your ancestors &
The people down the street
Who you meet once &
Smile at, then
Forget, and left
To their own pain:
Allow the miles to stretch
Between one generation and the next—
Grandmother's blessing or grandfather's hex.
Scrawling asymmetry
Cannot limit or define thee:
This is only poetry! Life shows
All the scenes like flitting treasure—
We sew them together, slip-shod,
Add a dash of of saffron
For good measure.

I saw a touche of saffron, the entire poem oozed of sizzling fooetry that's the combination of food and poetry, this made me ignite my other sense.

Once again you wowed me.
What a delightful poem and introduction to Zen and the art of pizza making. I become the pizza spiced with saffron. This spice saffron a serotonin stimulant and may be the explanation while southerners seem to be more happy (NIH link). It works like prozac but completely natural. The perfect spice for a depressed mood or depeche mode or defective node.
My mind is so polluted that this word "volatility" makes me think about the crypto market. This can also be the "febrility" of raw pizza dough ready to put into the oven. After it's done it becomes "a rigid body." Metaphysically this may be the substance of our entire being. United we are strong.
Again my mind is so polluted when I hear the description of a steaming pizza then I can only think of the price of steem today going up quick. The pixel pizza that is fit to feed a whole army of Steemians.
Usually we enjoy savory flavors not slavery flavors but be it the history of North Carolina and the cotton industry as it was I can see how southern cooking took on anther nuance two hundred years ago. Yet still I see this slavery as a slavery what binds a man inside perhaps the sin of ages past.
You got this part down:
We carry this around our whole lifetime this blessing from grandma and curse from grandpa. I am still haunted by it. But no worries. Spread a little saffron and everything is all right.
