The mind in simple things
In simple things the mind's fire grows malleable.
Now, it is a transportable pinnacle of presence,
Flickering, yet staying still—
The mind's heart grows radiant.
The brain of the hand computes
Delicate tautologies so it can devour them
With its knuckled molars to feed future phrases.
Erasure in the confidence of the heart's quill,
Blank space, the mind's fire grows intolerable
At the conjunction of expression and restraint.
I am delivered from the sword-tongue
By monkish ears that inflate with hydrogen,
Pulling me upwards into snowflown deafness.
In the ease of flight the mind's fire calms
The heart's water-mind writes soliloquies
For the beloved but burns them.
In simple things the mind's waters still.

A quite beautiful and peaceful. There is make me momentarily experience the reflection
The poem is really beautiful and well penned. As an amateur poet myself I can certainly learn from your style. Thanks for the inspiration and keep pumping out these awesome poems.
So pure and peaceful, love it so much!
I really like the way you play with sounds @d-pend. It was a pleasure to listen to the mind's water. I appreciate your mix. I don't know how to describe the words at the end of the poem but they do reflect the water of the mind emptied.
It is the simple things that ignite the mind's fire. But as soon as I try to put the mind's fire into words it is extinguished and all I can do is catch a few ashes. There is a fire in your pen. If you asked me 6 months ago to write a poem every day I would just say, "No"! But for the past four months I have been reading your poems and a fire has begun.
Peace

Those words are so viscous, so taken. A complete flow within every lines, have a great day ahead. @d-pend
