This week for me is UK week. Here is another snap from the Portland Bill, of the old lighthouse. I really love the whole beacon of hope significance of the lighthouse, and as I am quite fond of nautical stuff... I tend to over photograph them. Hope you like it!
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.
Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #103 - winner announcement!
@axeman Asian Sunday entry:
This time nice view from Sharjah, UAE. This is of smallest and "poorest" Emirates but most religiously concerned... There are no so many skyscrapers than in Dubai, but still much more than in my city.. :D Here had quite a luck to catch sun's halo on sunset. Though pretty hard shooting conditions straight against the sun and without LEE gradient filter. So had to gather a lot of information from the shadows to get building details, but well, good enough I hope. Enjoy the scenery!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #103 - winner announcement!
@kapengbarako Australian Monday entry:
This is Cape Reinga, located at the northern part of the North Island in New Zealand. It is 100 kilometers from Kaitaia, the nearest town. "Reinga" is a Māori word which means "the underworld" for which they believe that the place is where the souls enter the underworld.
@marwitt Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
The way to the SUNSET at the baltic sea! A breathtaking scenery offers this wonderful sunsets after a stormy shower on the Baltic Sea in Warnemünde. The seagull can also enjoy the beautiful tranquility on the beach and the fishing boat in the background drives to the sunset. A moment of peace and relaxation at the beach of Warnemünde. That´s the way of life!

Front view of the St. Anne's Church, a majestic Roman Catholic church found in Vilnius' Old Town, on the right bank of the Vilnia River. Built in the late 15th century, it is a prominent example of both Flamboyant Gothic and Brick Gothic styles.

Who's up for a swim in the Atlantic? I took this picture near on the long sandy beach near Capbreton, France. Always be careful of the rip current when you swim in the ocean, they are treacherous.
This look is from the top of the highest mountien in Wales - Snowdon 1,085m. For a climb to the top you can chose one of six paths. On a photo you can see ''Miners track'' and two lakes - Glaslyn and Llyn Llydaw. R&M

Dear @czechglobalhosts, this is my entry for today's challenge: https://steempeak.com/@careassaktart/my-entry-to-the-7-world-s-continents-photo-challenge-european-thursday-week-103
I shot this one during winter 2016 while we were travelling around the mountain Učka & doing the Eco Caravan project while trying to raise awareness about ecology. There we stopped to record a video & to eat something at the restaurant which is situated on the very same spot overlooking the Kvarner bay.
You should add a more detailled description if you want to be considered in the contest. At least 30 to 50 character long.
😅 Did you open my entry? Can't you see the description?

The way through the german forest with a horse!
The days are getting shorter and colder. Reason enough to take the horse and take a walk through the forest. Lonely and untouched nature characterize the forests in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany. We have discovered undiscovered paths in the forest, which are probably only used by hunters and keepers. The quiet area is the best way to recharge your batteries for the coming week.
I also posted the photo on my Marwitt | The WAY of LIFE blog.
Encantadora foto. Me encanta ese caballo en la naturaleza.
Milan, the world capital of fashion and design, but also an important financial center where life goes at full speed. This busy street is a good combination of old and new in a modern city.
This photo was captured on our first "bigger" hike with the baby. He was sleeping one way to Tamar from Planica, which was about 1 hour walk. The other way he was very calm as well, and just exploring beautiful nature around us.
He liked it, hopefully you will too :)

Sunset lullaby
Christmas time on Baltic (in Lithuania) often looks like this, without snow. Shot exactly on 25/Dec 2013. Yeah, very old frame and sometimes going through old archives trying to dig out some pearls :)
Very wide angle lens and my favorite pine-tree model.
Camera on tripod and natural light only, obviously :)
Enjoy the scenery!
