Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 Steem!
Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Australia. I am also adding New Zealand to the same challenge as there were some concerns from other Steemians as to which continent NZ belongs to.

Here's my entry for this week. This is part of the glorious Border Rangers National Park in New South Wales, Australia. We pulled over on the side of the road where there was a small bush walk, this was just one of the views from that walk.
Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.
Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 Steem in total.

Temple in Surat Thani, Thailand. I recently spent a day in Surat Thani, a city in Southern Thailand. Due to monsoon season it was raining a lot, but when I visited the awesome night market, the sky cleared up and I was able to capture this beautiful sunset behind a temple.

ColorChallenge - Purple Sunday - @olivia8 in 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge!
North Stradbroke island was my favorite place in Australia. I saw those pelicans near the ferry you take to cross from the mainland to the island. They are just chilling on the sandbank.
We recently spent two nights on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. After big days of exploring the island, we were treated to these amazing Sunsets everyday. I highly recommend checking out Kangaroo Island if you are ever on this side of the world.

Brisbane at Night
I only spent one night in Brisbane, but this was enough to realise that this is an amazing city, at day as well as at night! I took this long exposure from one of the bridges spanning over Brisbane river.

Finally, I got some fresh images taken in down under this year. The probably most iconic hotspot on the east coast, White haven beach in the midst of the Whitsunday Islands of the coast of Airlie Beach. Most people hop on one of many 2D1N tours that sail you and and a group of people around the islands. A wonderful experience. We got lucky and saw it all. Whales, sharks turtles rays,... countless breathtaking encounters with the marine wildlife..jpg)
The Kimberley mountains is the northernmost of the nine regions of Western Australia it is one of the oldest and largest wilderness landscapes in the world it has the best and cleanest watering holes you can drink that ice cold water straight out of them watering holes it was the freshest and best tasting water i even drank. Unbelievable bush walking tracks and and a lot of Aboriginal history to been seen it was one amazing trip i need to go back there in the near future.
My snow skiing trip to Mount Cook in New Zealand where the skies were so blue the lake was so calm and the air was so clean and crispy a trip that i would do again what a beautiful place New Zealand is the people are so friendly.

Here's my entry this week.
This is North Creek, located in the Richmond River area of the Northern Rivers in New South Wales, Australia. This area originated as a cedar logging community. At the time, North Creek was the only way in and out of the settlement area and it was here where ships were loaded with the cedar. Today this area is known as Ballina, a coastal town that is growing with popularity for holiday makers and those wanting a seachange. I want that sea change... or tree change!
