One of my favourite photos from The Map to Paradise filming trip. This one was taken on the shores of Neko Harbour on the Antarctic Peninsula. I love the penguins expression, although it does look a little sad.

Your entries need to be submitted by 8 AM Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only use of personal images will be accepted and only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. Ten winning photos will receive a bigger upvote from me and ten runners-up will get a smaller one.

Chosen from the ten winning entries, the absolute winner of the day will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts. The winning picture of the daily challenge will then automatically enter other rounds with the absolute winner gaining approximately 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous contests of the week and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. You can vote for them by upvoting their winner announcement posts below:

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #50 - winner announcement!

@rinawonderlands Asian Sunday entry:

This is one of a beautiful sunrise i had when i was in Gili Trawangan island, a small island near Lombok. No cars, no bike is allowed in this island. But unfortunately we can't go visit the island for a while now, since the earthquake hit Lombok last month. Many building were damaged, and all the people were evacuated from the island for their safety.

Majestic white cliffs covered with lush greenery and crystal clear turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea on the Zakynthos Island. Occupying a total area of over 400 sq km (almost 160 sq mi), Zakynthos is the third largest island in the Ionian Sea, Greece.

Thank you so much for your contribution. Have a great day.

Hi guys! happy to submit my very first entry to your contest.

Cape Reigna, New Zealand

Cape Reinga is the most northerly accessible point of the New Zealand and is generally considered the separation marker between the Tasman Sea to the west and the Pacific Ocean to the east. A truly spiritual place!

The way the light hits the ice in Antarctica can create some pretty unique colours. But when it’s overcast, often the icebergs can come across a beautiful vibrant blue that really stand out against there surroundings.

Wow, that sure is an amazing contrast of colors. Truly stunning!

Thanks Tomas, appreciate it!

The beauty of Pasific Ocean in Long Beach of Los Angeles. I went for a walk in the morning and the water was very cold because it was May. Anyway I enjoyed my trip and this calm view..

Thank you so much for your submission. Have a great day. Tomas

World ocean's.

The ocean covers 70 percent of the earth's surface. It contains about 1.35 billion cubic kilometers of water, which is 97 percent of all the water on earth.
I like the ocean, the sea makes me happy.
This picture is taken at The Whitsunday Islands, Australia, part of the Great Barrier Reef.

Yep, almighty oceans, they are so powerful and full of mystery..... Thank you for your entry and some useful information.

Beach on Hawaii

Big Island (Hawaii) has a lot of beautiful beaches, but contrary to most beaches on the other Hawaiian islands they do not look like resort beaches, but feature an impressive landscape shaped by volcanic activity.

I have also posted this photo on my blog.

Yet another place that I have to visit but with you we will travel the whole world:).....

What better way to finish the day than cruising the lagoon of Raiatea in French Polynesia at sunset? Travelling and discovering the island was quite a unique experience. Maybe I'll get back there someday.

Thank you so much for your participation. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement coming soon. Tomas

Photo was taken during the sunset, from Tenerife island.
In the background it is La Gomera island.
And of course Atlantic Ocean.
I used for this shot 70-300 mm Tamron lens.

What a beautiful sunset! Well done.

Yes, we should thanks to the clouds and the sun :D

This photograph is from the shores of the Landes - France. Ideal place to enjoy the fresh air, sea, sand and relaxing views. Everything that can be lived there is really beautiful, something you can not easily forget.

The blue color of that sky is just stunning. What a great capture.

balangan.jpg

One of my favourite beach in Bali. This is Balangan beach when it's low tide, you can see this magnificent rock formation which covered with green moss. I like how the sea water filling in the hole and makes a beautiful reflection of the sunset sky.
