Cyrus the Great

Hello to all my dear friends in Steemit

The 7th of Aban (October 29) is the official and national calendar of Iran, the day of Cyrus the Great in honor of Cyrus the Great, the founder and first king of the Achaemenid Empire.

This is information from my study of history

Cyrus the Great, the superman of history, the king of kings, the king of Iran, was the bravest and most beloved king of Iran, who with his words, deeds and good thoughts started a great revolution in the empires of history. About 2500 years ago, that is, 500 BC or 1100 BC, the son of the king of Iran, whose mother was the daughter of the king of Media, came to rule the most noble Iranian tribes. With the support of his people, he combined good wisdom and hard work. With courage and manliness, he united the Iranian tribes of Aryan descent and fought against the evil and oppressive kings of his time. He then defeated them one after another and forgave most of them and saved the people from their oppression and extended the borders of Iran to distant places. He founded the world's first and largest empire. An empire that was unique throughout history. That person was none other than Cyrus the Great. Civilization and ... Cyrus the Great is known for his generosity, the establishment of human rights, the establishment of the world's first great multinational empire, the liberation of slaves and captives, respect for different religions, the spread of civilization, and so on.

Persepolis is a symbol of glory 2500 years ago in Iran. Ancient Iran is one of the sights of Shiraz. Perhaps the Persepolis region and the remaining buildings in it can be considered one of the most important documents in the history of world civilization. Hence, prominent scientists and archaeologists from all over the world have traveled to Iran to visit Persepolis.

Iran reached its greatest geographical borders during the Achaemenid period and during the reign of Darius the Great. At this time, the borders of Iran were from the east to Jeyhun and northern India, from the west to Greece and Egypt, from the north to the south of Russia and from the south to Yemen.

After the conquest of Babylon, Cyrus wrote the Charter of Human Rights. An inscription referring to the first human rights issues. After the coronation of Cyrus, he announced his proclamation. He is the king of Iran and Babylon and the four corners of the world. He then pays homage to the gods of Babylon and then announces the text of the declaration of freedom and human rights that he had prepared.
"I established for all human beings the freedom to worship their gods, and I commanded that no one should be abused for this reason. I ordered that no house be destroyed. I guaranteed peace and tranquility to all human beings." I relieved their helplessness and freed them from slavery. "

God maintains this fixed and unchanging order of the world, the greatness of which is greater than any expression.
Do not commit a crime against the law justice
My children my sons when I do not make my body gold. The sooner you bury it, the better the soil, because man depends on a substance that grows the most beautiful things. Tell Pars and my alley not to gather around my grave and congratulate me that from now on I will live in peace and be cleansed from sins.
Give gifts to everyone who attends my funeral before they leave, because it has to be done when someone is going to be buried.
Do not forget my last advice: if you want to defeat the enemy, you should try to treat your friends kindly and well.

I'm sorry, my dear friend, but it looks like the photos you have selected for this publication might not be of Creative Commons license. It's a very common mistake, especially at the beginning of publishing on Steemit.

You can read what pictures are allowed on the platform here

The text is plagiarism-free and 150% interesting :) I didn't know much about Cyrus the Great although I have read a lot about another great ruler from that civilization: Darius the First, and his son Xerxes.

Great history lesson. I assume the religious freedom in such a huge empire was not only the right thing to do because of human rights, but also the smartest option to keep the country together. Persia reached Egypt with their Osiris and Ra, Greece with Zeus and Poseidon, and on the other side bordered with Hinduistic India. Full multiculturalism.

Thanks for sharing!

Are you asking about Cyrus pronunciation? if that's the case, yes, I just want to know if the pronunciation is the same as in English...
