Jesus Christ is our Best Friend!

Jesus is ALWAYS willing to help us, his love for us is unconditional.

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. 11 I have spoken these things to you, so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.
12 This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command you. 15 I no longer call you servants, for a servant does not know his master's business. But I have called you friends, for everything that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 17 This I command you, that you love one another.

John 15:9-17

We see the Lord Jesus Christ as the supreme King, the creator, our savior, the teacher, and we rarely see him as "Jesus our friend." Perhaps contemplating Jesus in this way is difficult, but for the Lord Jesus it is different.

Jesus Christ as a good friend accepts us unconditionally, this means that we can be at his side and always get closer. In this way, by spending more time getting to know Jesus, we will become more and more like him. Meanwhile, even with our shortcomings and our sinful tendency, we are accepted in the beloved, regardless of how we come to him.

5 Let your conduct be free from covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee:

Hebrews 13:5

The Lord Jesus Christ is always at our side, he always walks for us in any situation, he has promised that he will never ever forsake us, God is faithful both in good times and in not so good times, we must only trust in his promises.

The Lord Jesus is never too busy to not attend to us or to not answer our cry, we can share our doubts and fears at any time because he cares about everything that occupies a place in our mind and heart, the Lord fervently desires to hear us through prayer. And everything we say even when it is shouting or anger, will always be received with love on his part.

We know through his word that the Lord has a plan developed to the perfect measure of each one of us and that is why he will take care of each one of us with love. Let us thank God today for the way He intercedes for us and protects us, "Jesus Christ is our best friend."
