Recordamos aquella historia de la biblia en que aquella viuda estaba atravesando una difícil situación junto a su hijo, ella misma tenía la idea que moriría de hambre junto a su hijo.

Este es el momento en que ella se apoyaba en su razonamiento, en su idea, colocaba su esperanza en lo que estaba viendo y no en las posibilidades que podría tener por la fe en Dios.

—Tan cierto como que vive el Señor tu Dios —respondió ella—, no me queda ni un pedazo de pan; solo tengo un puñado de harina en la tinaja y un poco de aceite en el jarro. Precisamente estaba recogiendo unos leños para llevármelos a casa y hacer una comida para mi hijo y para mí. ¡Será nuestra última comida antes de morirnos de hambre!

1 Reyes 17:12

Ella pensaba en que ella y su hijo morirían, solo veían la escasez que estaban atravesando en ese mismo momento, solo se limitaba a lo que su vista le ofrecía, esa era su única realidad en ese momento, estaba dependiendo solamente de sus sentidos, de sus ojos y mente.

Consideraba su situación como viuda "creyendo" que nadie le ayudaría y debido a su situación NADIE haría algo por ella.

—No temas —le dijo Elías—. Vuelve a casa y haz lo que pensabas hacer. Pero antes prepárame un panecillo con lo que tienes, y tráemelo; luego haz algo para ti y para tu hijo.

1 Reyes 17:13

Te ves en esta situación reflejado/a, aunque según todo lo que contemplas en tu entorno no ves posibilidades, tienes que saber que las posibilidades se amplían por fe en Dios, en su palabra,puedes contemplarla y abrirte a nuevas posibilidades.

We remember that story from the bible in which that widow was going through a difficult situation with her son, she herself had the idea that she would die of hunger with her son.

This is the moment when she relied on her reasoning, on her idea, placing her hope on what she was seeing and not on the possibilities that she could have through faith in God.

And she answered: As the Lord thy God liveth, I have no bread, but only a handful of meal in a pot, and a little oil in a cruse: behold I am gathering two sticks that I may go in and dress it, for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

1 Kings 17:12

She thought that she and her son would die, they only saw the scarcity that they were going through at that very moment, she was only limited to what her sight offered her, that was her only reality at that moment, she was only depending on your senses, your eyes and your mind.

She considered her situation as a widow "believing" that no one would help her and because of her situation NOBODY would do anything for her.

And Elias said to her: Fear not, but go, and do as thou hast said: but first make for me of the same meal a little hearth cake, and bring it to me: and after make for thyself and thy son.

1 Kings 17:13

You see yourself in this situation reflected, although according to everything you contemplate in your environment you do not see possibilities, you have to know that the possibilities are expanded by faith in God, in his word, you can contemplate it and open yourself to new possibilities .
