Meet up
Silaturrahmi yang terjalin antara Yayasan Advokasi Rakyat Aceh (YARA), siang tadi di Polres Aceh Utara, Rabu (31/1/2018). Banyak hal menarik yang menjadi pembahasan, mulai dari biji kopi pilihan kapolres Aceh Utara AKBP Untung Surianata, pembuatan kancing dari batok kelapa, hingga bercocok tanam. Hal yang tak kalah penting adalah dukungan penuh kepada kapolres akan penegakan hukum syariat islam dibumi serambi Mekkah khususnya Aceh Utara, yang diwujudkan dengan menutup 5 unit salon dan mengamankan 12 orang waria diwilayah hukum polres Aceh Utara. Hal ini juga didukung oleh masyarakat, ulama termasuk juga YARA.
Pertemuan singkat itu juga disambut baik oleh kapolres Aceh Utara beserta jajarannya. "kami hanya ingin menegakkan syariat islam, banyaknya aduan masyarakat juga karena hal ini sudah meresahkan masyarakat" ujar Untung.
Dalam kunjungannya, Ketua YARA, Safaruddin,SH mengatakan mendukung sepenuhnya apa yang telah dilakukan oleh Kapolres Aceh Utara.
"kami berterima kasih kepada kapolres Aceh utara karena telah mendukung penegakan hukum syariat islam di Aceh, dan kami berharap intitusi Kepolisian terus mendukung penegakan hukum syariat islam ini"
Menutup pertemuan siang itu, Ketua YARA juga memberikan cinderamata sebuah rencong, dimana untuk masyarakat Aceh rencong adalah simbol keberanian. Dan kapolres Aceh utara sudah berani memberantas prilaku menyimpang yang terjadi di wilayah hukum Aceh utara.

The brief meeting was also welcomed by the North Aceh police chief and his staff. "We just want to enforce Islamic law, the many complaints of society also because it has been disturbing the community" said Untung.
During his visit, YARA Chairman, Safaruddin, SH said he fully supports what has been done by North Aceh Police Chief.
"We are grateful to the North Aceh police chief for supporting the enforcement of Islamic Shari'a law in Aceh, and we hope that the Police Institution continues to support the enforcement of Islamic Shari'a law"
Closing the meeting that afternoon, the Chairman of YARA also gave a souvenir of a rencong, which for the people of Aceh rencong is a symbol of courage. And the North Aceh police chief has dared to eradicate the deviant.
