Traditional Javanese house, or commonly referred to as omah Javanese custom, refers to traditional houses on the island of Java, Indonesia. Javanese house architecture is characterized by a dominant hierarchy of rules as reflected in the roof form of a house. Traditional Javanese houses have very similar layouts to each other, but the roof shape is determined on the social and economic status of the homeowner.

The traditional architecture of the Javanese house was heavily influenced by Dutch colonial architecture in Indonesia and also contributed greatly to the development of modern architecture in Indonesia in the 20th century.
