POLITICS

One of the inescapable themes in Uganda that we can not do without is Politics. As such, we are aware of the on going situation in the political arena not forgetting Corona virus becoming a disaster to almost everyone in the world. Uganda uses the democratic system of governance. The ideals of such a government include: Freedom and fair elections like the ones that took place in January 2021 and freedom of speech to mention but a few.

In Uganda today, we observe a hotchpotch of turmoil and political confusion due our deviation from these ideals. As a political analyst, my observation is that if we go back to the ideals, we can have a better Uganda.
If we only take our ideologies as right, not paying attention to the ideologies of others, we are just ending in state of quagmire. Having realised this, we are we are able to learn from the opinions of various people.

Here, the opposition side is able to respect the views of the new ruling government not forgetting our Prime minister who promised a hundred thousand shillings to the vulnerables but a quarter of the population has so far received the money to cater for their needs especially in this pandemic crisis we are in.
Uganda today can not be conceived minus talking about the imbalance of resources. The resources of the country are just in the hands of a few people and thereby, the gap between the rich and the poor is very wide.

A few months back, we have seen the up rise of HE Bobi Wine, the so called freedom fighter(people power). He tries his best to make sure where things are not going right, he is a perfect critic. Thumbs up to him. Inspite of the good work he is doing.
