The jargon of a whole country created by Forges

Words as usual as "bocata" were invented by the humorist.
His style is clear, images are as important as words. He created characters such as the marriage formed by Concha and Mariano, Blasillo or the shipwrecked, but also created a jargon used by all Spaniards. Many people use the word "bocata" without knowing that the origin of it is in a vignette in which there was no space to write "bocadillo". Thanks to this anecdote, the dictionary collects its meaning from 1983 and from it others have derived, as bocateria.
Forges gave a new function to the suffix -ata as a suffix jergal which, although it is not yet included in the dictionary, defines the New Grammar of the Academy (2010). With this function were born words like "sociata" (to refer to the socialists), "cubata" (cubalibre), "tocata" (turntable) or "drogata" (drug addict), some collected in the dictionary.
He also applied suffixes that already existed in other words to conform his peculiar vocabulary. So he used -amen to designate a collective, as "porramen": "set of porros smoked by a parliamentary group necessary to vote affirmatively certain bills that, curiously, are infumables", as defined in the book of 50 years of Forges .
There were many words that were included in the dictionary after the great humorist popularized its use, such as "malsonance", "estar de buten" (that's how he felt like an optimistic castaway), "chorbo" or "maromo".
Perhaps its most remarkable expressions are apheresis, words in which some sound is suppressed. Forges used this technique mainly to join two terms: "mosanda", "sodicen", "soparece", "tontolculo"; and in his famous interjections: "dremía!", "vadiós!", "recojostiójonos!"
He also ironized about Anglicanisms. It seems that the use of English words brings prestige, but Forges laughed at this belief using the Spanish version of the suffix ingés -able, converted into -eibol into words like "formidéibol".
One of the last words added to his funny vocabulary is "gurtélidos", a game of words that links the Gürtel plot to the ending -lidos, present in the scientific names that designate animal species, to refer to those involved.
With all this, Forges has not only made us laugh with his cartoons, he has also given us a language that will make the humor that characterized him so much and that is so necessary, endure.
